Where to start? Susan and I had a job in Utah... need I say more? Like always, these jobs involve Ryan driving the Penske all the way there (and then unloading it for us), last minute shopping (and in this case, in the COLD and snow), going a "little" over budget, long hours, and a lot of laughs! This job had a few extras that came with it...
1. Traveling with Van for 11 hours (he did really good, actually. Phew!)
2. We got to stop at my Grandma's on the way up (Van's great Grandma). She was very thrilled to see baby Van of course, but I think she was more excited to make "sticky buns" for us in the morning. She says she feels guilty when she makes them for herself, and so she was happy two other bodies could share them with her, and we were happy too, because they were DELICIOUS!!
4. Ry didn't stay the whole week because his own work needed him... his flight back was delayed twice! Sorry, babe. Love you!
5. I got to squeeze in visits with family and friends... Here's my college roomie and good friend, Katie. I also got to see both of my sisters while there :)
7. Susan and I were locked out of the office with only one last piece of furniture to put inside! Thankfully the girl came back to let us in, so we got the job completely finished LAST MINUTE!
8. Susan and I had to handle 4 bags, a pack and play, car seat, pump, diaper bag, purse, baby, and not to mention his blanket and all our layers of clothing all on our own! We made it through security and onto the plane (Baby Van slept the ENTIRE way at least).
9. MY BAG GOT LOST! They finally located it today and dropped it off this evening, thank goodness!!
What a work week! Van's a trooper though... love that boy!
