Ok, it's been awhile, and SO MUCH has happened in the last month... we celebrated Easter with the Hicken side of the family a little early. Van loved the plastic eggs! He didn't need anything inside, the eggs were good enough to keep him entertained for a long time :)
Ry and I celebrated our 3 year anniversary a little bit early because I was going to Utah a week early for my sister's wedding... We went to Donovans, had a great dinner, and YUMMY dessert! 3 years has gone by fast, but it has been so fun. Every year seems to get better than the previous. I love you, Ry, and I'm so happy you're mine!!
Then Utah... A lot of driving (big thanks to my mom who came in my car to help keep Van entertained), a TON of planning and preparing for the wedding, a BEAUTIFUL endowment session for my sister, QUALITY time with family and friends, MANY tears, and of course the new couple... Lindsay and Darren Dickerson! I love you guys SO MUCH!!!
Even though it snowed on our outdoor reception plans, the cultural hall still turned out beautiful! I had so much fun decorating for this reception, maybe wedding planner IS in my future...
Ry was so good to be with Van basically THE WHOLE TIME from when his plane landed on Wednesday afternoon... he just let me do my thing, so THANK YOU! Please notice the pj pants... I think that was the 4th or 5th blowout of the trip!
And amidst all the wedding chaos, I managed to paint my nieces bedroom while in Utah... they were sure 2 happy little girls!
I think we left the reception around 10pm to drive down to AZ, (with all of the "stuff" mind you) so we could do it all again the next night for an Open House for all the Arizona peeps! Talk about crazy, but everything got done, both looked beautiful, and the new couple couldn't be happier... and me too now that it's over :)
