Ryan decided that we have a little getaway to his parents cabin in Pinedale for my birthday weekend (which happens to be Memorial Day weekend). We had a great time! On Friday night we went to Charlie Clarks steakhouse for dinner...

The next morning we got up, stopped at Mama Bear's for breakfast, and then went fishing.

Because it was a little chilly out that morning, I didn't even think about sunscreen, and poor baby Van's face got fried! At least he was wearing a hoodie, which protected the top of his head and his arms. I felt SO bad!!!
That night we had dinner at the Torreon Golf Clubhouse. Our waiter had one rough night, and literally apologized 10 different times to us (didn't put our appetizer in, Ryan's salad came out WAY later than mine, forgot to bring a refill out for Ry, then when he did it was the wrong drink, and a few others I can't remember...) Haha! We still tipped him :)
My Birthday fell on Sunday this year, and so after we got back from church I opened my gift, which was a Yeti Pro Mic... It is awesome and I couldn't wait to try it out (I love it, by the way)!
Then Ryan cooked a yummy roast with potatoes and corn on the cob. THEN he made strawberry shortcake and chocolate dipped strawberries... everything was SO GOOD!!!
He also told me when we get back I get to pick out a bike... I'm really excited because I've been wanting one for awhile now. I'll post a pic when I get it. :)
We left Monday morning, and got back in time to celebrate Memorial Day at my parents house; swimming, BBQ, home videos, and cupcakes for more Birthday celebrating...
I had a great birthday weekend! Thank you everyone for the birthday wishes and gifts. I love you all and am so thankful for everyone in my life! I couldn't be more blessed.
