Birthday Boy Van

2 days ago was Van's second birthday, June 20th.  To celebrate, Chealsey and I took him to Sun Splash, and he had a great time!  Later that night we just had a small celebration at home.  Our good friends, Kristal and Ryan came over with their little boy, Kaden, who is Van's age, and brand new baby, Ryker.  Susan and Dennis came over to give Van a present, and stayed for the celebrations... I made Cafe Rio pork salads for the first time and they turned out really good! (I was worried) See my link to "Yummy Recipes" if you want the recipe!  Van opened presents and we all had cake afterwards. Van loved opening his presents, and was very thrilled with his cake as well... probably because it had a real Lightning McQueen on top that he could play with :)  I love my Van!  I can't believe he's already 2, but I've enjoyed every single day with him.  Here are a few facts about my 2 year old:

He loves his mom and dad! 

He likes when I sing him to sleep

He is saying sentences better everyday

He copies words people say

He is 24 lbs and still in #4 diapers

He is 35" tall

He loves trucks, planes, cars, and tractors... mostly Lightning McQueen

He loves soccer balls

He's starting to use the potty

He loves animals, and loves saying the sounds they make

He loves his blankies

He loves wearing hats and glasses

He knows the Temple and says "Jesus's house"

He loves the nursery

He is learning primary songs, and starting to sing them, his favorite is Sunbeam

He is a good swimmer, and loves the water

Blueberries and cheese are still his favorite things to eat

He makes me laugh

He gives the BEST hugs and kisses
