My brother, Taylor, came to Arizona to see my parents before they left for Mexico. Since he lives on the East coast, we rarely see him, and so I made sure to take advantage of the time he was here, especially because this was probably the last time we would see him before he gets deployed :( He loved seeing Van...
We can't forget Brian, too!! My youngest brother went to Mexico with my parents. He has made friends with the missionaries there, and gets to play soccer with them on p-day! This will be such a great experience for him, and I can see his outlook on life has already changed for the better.
Here's us with Tay. Words can't express what I think of my brother. Every time I think about him leaving next month, I can't help but cry! A huge part of me doesn't want him to go, but the other part of me is SO GRATEFUL that he is willing to serve our country. I have come to appreciate those in our Military a whole lot more since he joined. It takes such a strong, selfless person to do what he is doing, and I thank him, and all other military persons, from the bottom of my heart. He will continue to be missed and prayed for!
The night before my parents left, Ryan and I decided to go see a movie with them. It was a last minute plan, and so we didn't have a babysitter lined up. A little hesitant, we took Van with us. The movie started during his bedtime, so I fed him a bottle, rocked him to sleep, and he didn't wake up throughout the entire movie... and I'm talking Transformers 3 here!!! I couldn't even believe it. Best baby, ever!

The next morning, a few tears were shed, and then my parents and Brian left for their adventure in Mexico! We've Skyped them already, and they're doing great, just very busy, with LONG days! Love you Mom, Dad, and Brian! See ya in 3 years (well actually, see ya for Christmas)!!

That baby has been good during movies since he was born! Thanks for finally blogging!
ReplyDeleteYour own store? That is awesome! I'm definitely going to tell everyone about this!
ReplyDeleteIt was fun to see Ryan yesterday, wish you and Van were here too. The boys went with him to place his camera and were amazed! So fun!
