On Monday, October 15th we went to the pumpkin patch for family night. We went with our good friends, the Hoopers. Van and Kaden had so much fun playing the games, riding the train, seeing the animals, going through the maze, milking the "cow", and of course picking their pumpkins out...
This was one of the greatest things there. The boys got way into it, and Kaden even ended up drinking straight from the utter! Pretty hilarious!
Saturday, October 27th our ward had a little party at the neighborhood park. Costumes were optional, but no masks were allowed. I decided not to dress Van up because I knew we would have a meltdown if I told him he couldn't wear his mask :) We still had a great time: Dinner, sweets, games, and even a pig chase!
On Monday, October 29th, we had the opportunity to go to another Cardinals football game. Even though they lost, we still had a really fun time. Van loved the car flags we got, and waved them practically the whole time.
After the game we got to hang out "backstage" and wait for Calais and Dan to get out of the locker room. You can tell who has a child of their own between Calais and Dan...
I love Van's face in this picture with Dan. Susan and I had to get a picture with "our boys" as well. We call Susan a hobbit :)
Jordin Sparks sang the National Anthem that night, and we saw her and Larry Fitzgerald in the parking lot on our way to the car.
On Halloween we went over to the Hooper's for dinner and went trick-or-treating afterwards. The boys had such a fun time saying trick-or-treat, some doors they would repeat it over and over until the person answered the door. Van tried walking into a couple of peoples houses as well! He was Spiderman this year, and my favorite part is the muscles. He also wanted a Spiderman pumpkin...
