We hear it all the time, "they grow up way too fast" or "where does the time go?" and some might get tired of hearing it, but it's SO TRUE, and I find myself all too frequently saying those same phrases.
Take this for instance:
He's ONE!
November 6th, my little Tye (aka Tarzan) turned one and I cannot believe how fast the time flew! Although I miss his little brand new self, I love watching him grow and discover each new day. He is starting to walk quite a bit now. He loves the "Fox Song" and will dance and sing along at just the mention of it's name. He jabbers sentence after sentence, totally believing he's carrying a full on conversation with you. He likes to wave hi and clap. He sticks out his tongue and pats his head. He likes to scrunch his nose and copy the noises that you make. He has a tender heart, and is pretty sensitive. Teeth 3 and 4 are coming in. He will eat ANYTHING... ALL DAY LONG! He is easy going and very happy. He has already brought so much joy to our lives and we love him more everyday.
For his birthday, we had family and a couple of friends over to celebrate. I of course love to decorate, and so I had fun planning this special day for him. The theme for his party: Tarzan (totally appropriate)!
After poking around at his cake for awhile, he decided to dive in face first, and then there was no stopping him! Loved it!!
